Remember How Much We Love the Illinois River?

Oh, the Illinois River. Remember those trips we did in the past: flowers, great rapids, clear water, lay over days, and the hundreds of waterfalls? It’s that time of year that it rains in Southern Oregon and we can put together a trip on this gem of a river.

For those of you that haven’t done it yet, this is a Class IV+ river that is usually done in four days. There is one Class V rapid, Green Wall, that is pretty much mandatory. It’s a tributary of the Rogue River and has the same take-out shuttle.
